PUNKINDNESS

in the world of today is more punk to say ‘thank you ’than ‘fuck you This is Simon Cracker’s philosophy. In a world where who shouts louder wins the truly disruptive elements today are authenticity and consciousness: aunties, hugs and laces that wrap up deliciously boring things.
The ‘destroy ’and ‘do it yourself ’roots of punk are alive, but in a more conscious and kind way, even referencing the cuddly and tender Kawaii world and child like graffiti.

The ‘Punkindness’ capsule collection tells the story of a somewhat shy ‘Cracker boy’ in a cosy and messy environment in which he blends through tailored suits never collected back from old dry cleaners and male’s wardrobe archetypes
deconstructed and reconstructed in a crude but at the same time paradoxically delicate way. Punkindness, as well as being a state of mind becomes a true ‘manifesto’ garment on sweatshirts. The ‘SIMON CRACKER MILANO white
cotton shirt with logo ‘is the ironic interpretation of the logo obsession that pollutes creativity so much today.

PUNKINDNESS

oggi è più punk dire ‘ che ‘ questa è la filosofia di Simon Cracker. Gli elementi veramente di rottura, in un mondo dove
vince chi grida più forte, sono quelli autentici, consci e genuini: le zie, gli abbracci, la merenda e i merletti che avvolgono cose deliziosamente noiose.
La distruzione e il fai da te alla radice del punk sono presenti, ma declinati in modo garbato e consapevole, anche con riferimenti al Kawaii, tenero e coccolo e ai disegni dei bambini.

La capsule ‘Punkindness’ racconta la storia di un Cracker boy un po’ timido in un ambiente accogliente e disordinato nel quale si amalgama attraverso abiti sartorial i mai ritirati da vecchie tintorie e archetipi del guardaroba maschile
smontati e ricostruiti in maniera cruda ma paradossalmente delicata allo stesso tempo. Punkindness, oltre a essere uno stato mentale, diventa un vero capo sulle felpe. La t shirt ‘SIMON CRACKER MILANO maglia bianca di cotone con logo’ è l’interpretazione ironica dell’ossessione legata al logo’ chetanto inquina la creatività oggi.
