Alla sua ottava edizione, la Monte-Carlo Fashion Week si é trasferita temporaneamente sul web e ha inaugurato un nuovo modo di fare moda.È stata una settimana straordinaria, che ci ha fatto viaggiare, in modo virtuale, nel mondo intero: dagli Stati Uniti a Dubai, dalla Tailandia all’Italia, a Monaco con le “2020 MCFW SERIES A CONVERSATION WITH…”, accattivanti e interattivi digital talk live con i protagonisti importanti del panorama moda internazionale.Un viaggio virtuale che, grazie ai designers che hanno partecipato al Contest sulla Sostenibilità ha toccato 17 paesi del mondo (Giappone, Kuwait, Colombia, USA, Francia, Italia, Monaco, Guatemala, Messico, Ungheria, Repubblica Ceca,Tunisia, Bolivia, Madagascar, Danimarca, Peru et Belgio) facendoci scoprire più di quaranta brandche si distinguono in materia di sostenibilità.Ognuno di essi ha racchiuso la propria essenza e la propria visione innovativa, in un video girato in lockdown o nei giorni post lockdown, diffuso sui canali social della Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (Instagram @montecarlofashionweek e sito web www.montecarlofashionweek.net) e sul canale YouTube di Fashion Channel, partner della manifestazione.A aprire la Monte-Carlo Fashion Week il 14 maggio, la ”Conversation with”Pauline Ducruet, figlia di S.A.S. la Principessa Stephanie di Monaco e fondatrice del brand genderless Alter, intervistata da Sara Maino, Head of Vogue Talents, Deputy Director di Vogue Italia, International Brand Ambassador CNMI.A seguire il talk con Tommy Hilfigere Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger in collegamentodagli Stati Uniti intervistati da Victoria Silvstedt. |

Un’iniziativa internazionale che, grazie all’alternanza di designers innovativi e momenti di riflessione sui temi legati alla sostenibilità, è diventata un importante punto di riferimento per la moda “eco”.A concludere l’edizione un messaggio forte ed univoco di tutti i partecipanti: #SUSTAINABLETOGETHER immortalato da uno scatto che ha unito tutti i partecipanti in un solo coro. Primario anche l’impegno in ottica charity di MCFW©, con il supporto per il quarto anno consecutivo alla Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation (www.fondationprincessecharlene.mc). L’obiettivo principale della Fondazione è di salvare vite lottando contro gli annegamenti. Le sue missioni sono quelle di sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sui pericoli dell’acqua, apprendere ai bambini le misure preventive e insegnare loro a nuotare. Lo sport é ugualmente uno strumento per contribuire al benessere ed allo sviluppo dei bambini. For its eighth edition, the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week has temporarily moved to the web and inaugurated a new way of doing fashion. It has been an extraordinary week, which has made us travel, in a virtual way, all around the world: from the United States to Dubai, from Thailand to Italy, to Monaco with the “2020 MCFW SERIES A CONVERSATION WITH …“, captivating and interactive digital live talks with the protagonists of the international fashion scene. A virtual journey that, thanks to the designers who participated in the Sustainability Contest, went across 17 countries of the world (Japan, Kuwait, Colombia, USA, France, Italy, Monaco, Guatemala, Mexico, Hungary, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Bolivia, Madagascar, Denmark, Peru et Belgium) and made us discover more than forty brands that stand out in terms of sustainability. Each of them has enclosed its essence and its innovative vision, in a video shot in lockdown or in the post lockdown days, spread on the social medias of Monte-Carlo Fashion Week (Instagram @montecarlofashionweek and website www.montecarlofashionweek.net) and on the YouTube channel of Fashion Channel, partner of the event. To open the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week on May 14, the “Conversation with” Pauline Ducruet, daughter of S.A.S. Princess Stephanie of Monaco and founder of the genderless brand Alter, interviewed by Sara Maino, Head of Vogue Talents, Deputy Director of Vogue Italia, International Brand Ambassador CNMI. The commitment to sustainability, ethics and awareness: these are the key themes of the eighth edition of the Monegasque fashion week which promoted an ethical and awareness approach to fashion. An international initiative that, thanks to the innovative designers and moments of reflection on issues related to sustainability, has become an important reference point for “eco” fashion. To conclude the edition, a strong and univocal message from all participants: #SUSTAINABLETOGETHER immortalized by a shot that reunited all the participants in one choir. Firmly believing in social responsibility, MCFW© will support the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation (www.fondationprincessecharlene.mc), for the fourth year in a row. The primary objective of the Foundation is to save lives by putting an end to drowning. Its missions are to raise public awareness about the dangers of water, teach children preventive measures, and teach them to swim. Sport is also a tool that contributes to the well-being and the development of children.
